5. Being Underweight
Early menopause can be caused in women who are underweight, as oestrogen is stored in the fat tissues, and lack of enough oestrogen can lead to an early menopause.
If a woman has cancer or has been treated for cancer, the medications could lead to the development of certain hormonal abnormalities, causing an early menopause.
An early menopause can also be caused if a woman is suffering from epilepsy, as epileptic seizures can cause hormonal imbalances in a woman’s body.
